Investing outside of Colorado, NexGen acquired a stabilized 25,260 square foot two building, in-line retail center in Blaine, Minnesota, a northern suburb of Minneapolis. Initially, NexGen acquired three buildings, but sold-off the anchor high-performing, standalone Perkins Restaurant. This Class A retail center built in 2003/2004 includes national tenants such as The American Red Cross, Bruegger’s Bakery, H & R Block, and Great Clips. NexGen is creating value by repositioning its drive-thru to Starbucks.
